You were enjoying your vacation from work but just when you are about to take a sip of your cocktails, your boss sent you a message on an emergency insurance claim. Wouldn’t it be good to be able to access work even when you’re not in the actual place of business? Similar to how things are constantly changing, do you know that there are companies too that provide specialized liability insurance needs that cater specifically to the hospitality industries? An insurance company in New York contacted A1 Enterprise and decided to shift to digital transactions. They initially wanted a claims management software but then mentioned that they could also avail themselves of the expenses and financial management tool alongside the dashboard module. They said that they want to provide claims management solution-based services even through a remote set-up.

In this demo, the client wanted a claims management system catering to their TPA Claims, Franchise Food, Liquor, Parking Garages, Workers Compensation, Excess, and Product/Asset. They also wanted to have an integration with the agency management system including granular security and access to data migration. They also wanted reporting or analytics provided in their software. Further, they need to have a review on their list of reinsurer/s among their clients, their fronting companies, their local risk managers, and a scheduled client reporting.

Claims Management

This module caters to different types of claims management programs ranging from Commercial, Liability, Asset, Auto, Product, Theft, Medical, Life, Property, Work Compensation, Complaints, Expenses, Settlements, and Reimbursements.

It is also equipped with features such as Notifications and Alerts for reminders, Subrogation, Letters and Notices, Compliance Reporting, Document Management which allows the user to attach certain files, Claimant Portals and Forms which shows the damage descriptions, the asset number, the related claims, the related contacts, and Dashboard Reports and Metrics.

While this has been produced to manage various claims, access to each tab can also be limited for each user depending on their needs. An administrator can have access to all tabs while a non-administrator can only read the available information. Simply, the module owner can put role and field permissions on each type of user.

Once given by administrator access, he or she can customize the tabs by simply clicking the Add button to add a claim. Here, one can link one asset to a claim since A1 Enterprise modules are interrelated.

Upon inputting a claim ID, the user can automatically see the summary in terms of data on property damage information, video and photo information, and the like.

On top of all the customization parts, the administrator can enjoy the combining criteria that the claims management software can provide. He or she can sort, rearrange columns such as the date reported, the items that were resolved in-store, the settlement amount, the date closed, the comments and observations if there are any, the total expense policy number, the total indemnity, the total reserves, the indemnity reserve, the option whether a claimant is an employee or not, its employee number, and the like. The administrator can also have an option to put the reports in public or in private.

Dashboard

This feature provides an option to the user on what interactive chart he or she would like to see. Here, summaries could be viewed on pie charts, calendars, widgets, and the like. This feature would show a review by type of claims (e.g., workers compensation, accident, cargo, trailer), by year, and the like, He or she can also hide certain information by clicking the colored legends provided by the system. Once clicked, a list of the claim type and its transaction through a drill-down type would show if they want to know the details behind the chart. A user can also have the option of whether to give access to the dashboard only or the dashboard and access to the grid or comparison chart with granular information.

Portal

This interface allows the end-user to go on the website. Here, the claimant is required to put information on the required details so that the website administrator can give access to him or her.

Businesses are slowly emerging not on their offered products but also on how they do their transactions. Let us help you shift from traditional to digital. Contact A1 Enterprise and schedule a demo.
